Common symptoms

When people seek help

  • Chronic fatigue, low immunity, frequent infections
  • Stubborn skin issues, allergies or sinus congestion
  • Long-standing joint or back pain
  • Metabolic sluggishness, poor digestion, brain fog
  • A sense that “patches” of care never fully reset the system
Important

Educational overview only. Diagnosis and treatment are decided after a private clinical assessment.

The approach

How we think about this — in plain language

Panchakarma is not a spa package. It is a sequenced programme: preparation (Snehana / oleation and Swedana / sudation), then one or more of Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya or Raktamokshana as indicated, then recovery diet and rasayana. Duration and intensity depend on goal — cleanse, disease support, or rejuvenation — decided after consultation.

The journey

What care often looks like, step by step

A typical arc — your health, grade and constraints change the timeline.

  1. Consult

    Design the programme

Prakṛti, disease history, medicines, work constraints. We choose 7, 14 or 21-day arcs only when they fit you.

  2. Prep

    Oleation & heat

Internal and/or external oiling, gentle heat therapies. Digestion is watched closely before main procedures.

  3. Main phase

    Shodhana as indicated

Selected purification procedures under supervision. Not everyone receives every “five-fold” step — classical care is selective.

  4. Recovery

    Samsarjana & rasayana

Graduated diet, rest, and rejuvenation support so results hold after you leave the clinic.

  5. After

    Integrate

Home routine, seasonal notes, and when to return. Panchakarma is a chapter — not the whole book of health.

FAQ

Questions patients actually ask

How long is a typical programme?

Often 7 to 21 days depending on goal and strength. Shorter outpatient or weekend-inclusive plans exist for some people after assessment.

Can working professionals do it?

Sometimes yes — with tailored schedules. Deep programmes still need rest; we will not oversell a “lunch-break Panchakarma.”

Is it safe?

When supervised by a qualified Ayurvedic physician and screened for contraindications, classical Panchakarma is carefully staged. Pregnancy, severe weakness, and certain diseases change the plan entirely.

Is this a weight-loss camp?

No. Some people lose fluid weight; the intent is purification and balance. Obesity care may use Panchakarma as one tool among others.
